My boys have their first game today. I have 4 on my team that are playing for the 1st time. I've already prayed my butt off, but hopefully they will do great tonight.

But from what I understand they have an agreement with the school to use the L. The Cardinal logo is original, but they have used the same L forever. Just like Greenwood High School was the original designer of the G used by Grambling and Greenbay. Just opposite.

Love the area up there. Landrum/Polk is a great place. My wife lived up there when we dated and we still have family up there.

Been to several of the football games the last few. Last year Polk wore em out.

Get really keyed up about the game and then when things aren't going your way scream at the kids and parents. Make sure to call the umpire names and then protest the game and by all means go to the rec director and try to fight him.
