Not true! I have never once said anything negative about our coach. A loss last night would have been dissapointing but not changed my opinion of Dabo. We have a quality man leading our program and I'm very pround of not just last night but our season as a whole! Go Tigers!

sort of like telling a lady she doesn't sweat much for a fat woman! Do yourself a favor and just enjoy the ride for the next few years. Like it or not, Dabo is not going anywhere. It will be much easier to enjoy it!

I thnk you will never be sold on Dabo! But the last I looked he was not for sell. I also think the reasons you do not like him has nothing to with football. How could you come on here the day after that great game and even post a statement like that. I am really not sold on you!

than he does then I'm up for hiring you. Dabo recruits as well as any head coach in the nation IMO, and after last night I'd say he's a pretty good motivator.

You would lose that bet as far as I'm concerned. First and

foremost, you've got to have great players if you want to be a great team. Dabo is a recruiting monster, but I'm not going to sit here and say he's a great X's and O's coach.....hence the salary of our O and D coordinators. He is the, "CEO type" head coach and that's fine with me. I do NOT want to lose any, much less the D players we have coming in this years recruiting class because we fired Dabo for losing to what everyone considered a top 5 team in the nation. Agreed that there are plenty of dumpers on here that would have called for heads to roll, I just wouldn't have been one of them...believe it or not.

Calling for his head if we would have lost. Believe me, I know we won.... It was a great win, but until he beats South Carolina with this success, I won't be sold on him. Anyone that disagrees with that is stupid.
I can't believe y'all are even jumping in me about this post. I said nothing negative about him. I even said he has a nice feather in his cap now and continue to prove we are for real.

It was a great game, that's for sure. Great win for Clemson. We out-talented LSU and beat them despite questionable coaching (at least on offense.) It was also somewhat of a gift, as the mad hatter decided to throw the ball on their last drive instead of just run the clock out. But I digress.
Now we have to just hope we can hold on to our coordinators, our NFL eligible players, and we land at least 4 of the defensive stars we are recruiting. If those stars align, we could be headed to a BCS bowl win. That's a lot of ifs though.

Tom, I ain't pretending to know chit about football but...
Jan 1, 2013, 8:40 PM
|
|
We had enough timeouts to make LSU gain a first down or two. The short pass they completed put their total offensive stats for the fourth quarter up to a positive one yard.
If I had have been in Miles' position with my opponent having spent four quarters stopping me from running the ball (remember all the third and shorts we stopped them on throughout the game?) I'd have passed the ball too.
The trajectory of the pass that was thrown in what appeared to be a wild throw during LSU's last series was changed by one of our linemen. My contentions is that had our guy not been there their chance to run the clock out would have increased greatly with that first down pass. That was an excellent playcall but the defense was better.
My contention is that our guy read the play and knew where to be. Watch the game again.
That game wasn't luck. Check the game stats.

Every hire he makes turns out to be exactly what we need. He is either a mastermind at reconizing talent in coaching assistants or lucker than a dog with two peckers.
