I thought Bloomberg did OK for a first debate and everybody

else except Bernie looks like their getting desparate. Bernie was Bernie, still unelectable. Pete went after Klobuchar in a battle for second place moderate. She seems decent, but is going to run out of money. Biden is done, he talked loud and fast with conviction, but his words and facts got garbled. Warren seemed especially desparate.

no. He wasn't at his sharpest, but he didn't really make any

major gaffs either. Much of the debate, he let the others beat on each other. I don't think he's a great debater, but I bet he looks better next time.

His gaff was when he mentioned the joke he told to women where he made them sign confidentiality agreements.

I can’t get over how much Joe’s aged in a few short years.

Joe 5 years ago was like
And now he’s like
He looks like he’s gone through a pre-embalming process.

Said the same thing. He was a different guy 4 years ago,

and that guy probably could have/would have beaten Trump this November. He looks, talks, and acts like he aged 15 years since then.
Bernie is the same guy he was 35 years ago. If nothing else, you have to admire Bernie's consistency.

Truth be told, I think Joe woulda run away with it in 2016.

Clinton machine kept him out though. And yeah, it may make me callous and cynical but I just felt like his son's death wasn't the real reason he stayed home. If I'm wrong, shame on me. If I'm right, I wonder how much it keeps him up at night thinking what coulda been.

Bloomberg was terrible. Not because they went after him
Feb 20, 2020, 7:51 AM

but because of how he responded to them. "I was nice to some women"
That was Warren's final shot at finishing better than 3rd. Still not going to happen.
Bernie was Bernie as Bernie will always be.
Biden wasn't bad.
Pete was on the defense a lot more while taking shots.
Amy can just give up.

Having to listen to that voice at every Presidential announcement for 4 years would be like hearing the Four Non-Blondes lead singer do every pre-game national anthem for 4 years.

The whole stage went after him hard as soon as the debate started. He held up ok but I thought he scored his points with his blunt-truth comments. Politicians hate that but voters like it.

Was thinking same thing

Attacks were what I expected on Bloomberg knowing he is a billionaire capitalist with his own checkered history of sexist comments.
Thought Bloomberg did fine. But oh boy the news strongly disagrees with that assessment. He would be more popular in the general election, but will struggle to secure the democratic nomination.
He just seems bored up there as he's not the over-eager politician like the rest on the stage. Very much a CEO-type personality and would do well when staying on-topic. I didn't see Bloomberg raise his hand once, whereas Warren injured her rotator cuff.

Lol, when he called Bernie “the most popular socialist, who happens to be a millionaire that owns 3 houses” I thought that was a stinging reality all liberals needed to hear. Somewhere, Trump was smiling at that no-bullshlt rebuttal.
