How Did FSU Have a COVID Outbreak?

All we heard last week from FSU was how they were the epitome of COVID protocols, were solely concerned with the safety of their players, and how their players were making the ultimate sacrifice to remain safe. They hadn't had a COVID case since September and fortunately avoided contact with that COVID-infested Clemson team. So, how did the COVID outbreak happen. My best guess. Dabo gifted each FSU player a COVID-laced swag bag. I can think of no other way the virus could have breached all those FSU firewalls.

They had to. They couldn’t possibly run the risk of playing a football game.

Anyone think FSU is just making up the test results to get out of playing?

That crossed my mind...

believe their real intentions are to not play another game to embarrass themselves. There's more to their story than we know...or care to know.

That’s a good one. Wish I had thought of it!

(..... well, until the SJWs descend upon you with wrath, scorn and intense hatred and condemnation; probably going to get banned, boycotted, doxed then fired from your job.... at which time I will thank the lowered it was you and not me..... ??).

Siri just reported me for laughing at the blanket reference. I'm expecting the PC police momentarily.

Should have kept them from going to the sorority houses. Guess coach thought it was safe for them to go.

Blessing in disguise. Imagine if we had played them and had a covid outbreak over the past week. It would have been devastating.

My take is they had a covid outbreak when they were supposed to play us and they were already decimated so they kept it quiet but blamed us. Ta-dah.. they don’t have to get totally humiliated!

It’s quite simple. FSU had a lot of players opt out before the year. All of them said the same thing. They said the coaching staff was dishonest about covid. If your own players were calling you liars, there is a problem.

I believe thier internal COVID issues were always the real reason they canceled the Clemson game.

Knowing of their multiple internal covid issues would be a good reason thier medical staff would say the game isn't safe to play no matter what Clemson offered. Leaving Clemson to believe it was because of one positive test, and their folks hiding behind HIPAA.
