Finishing strong used to be

Mar 12, 2019, 10:09 PM

One of the talking points when judging whether a team was worthy of a tourney bid. They would look at at record of last 10. Isn't that what you want a team that's jealing at the right time. Now it's they don't have but 1 or 2 quad 1 wins or that team had a big win over team x but don't mention that it was the early in the season. If Clemson would have beaten say gonzaga early in non conference then that would mean we clearly are a team deserving of a bid. Don't know where I'm going with this but all these metrics go over my head. How about the good ole eye test. At the end of the day whatever computer models they use to set the field go out the door when the games start.
