Sitting here thinking how they could have fallen this far. Here are their records from the 90s by year. That's about as good a Decade as you'll find.

You don't even have to go that far back.
It wasn't an entire decade but they were #10 and 12-2 in 2012, #1 and 14-0 in 2013, #4 and 13-1 in 2014, #14 and 10-3 in 2015, and #8 and 10-3 in 2016.
That's a pretty impressive 5 year run followed by a lightning quick decent in the most recent 4 years.

Built towards that 1 team that he hoped could do it and then left the program in utter shambles. I appreciate what both coaches left behind.

The only thing Clemson is missing is longevity. And, they may get that.
FSU finished in the top 5 for 14 consecutive years. That is far longer than Bama or Oklahoma or ND or any other school in NCAA history. That is the most remarkable accomplishment in Bobby's coaching career.
The equivalent might be this: Everyone remembers Jack Nicklaus for his 18 majors. But, personally, I think an even more remarkable feat is he finished in the top 4 on the money list for 17 straight years.
What Dabo is doing is amazing. Here's hoping he gives the 14 year streak a real run for it's money. Barring something really strange happening, Clemson will have 6 in a row, and counting, after this year.
Everybody talks about Nick Saban. And, he is a great coach. To show you how hard it is, the best he has ever done is 5 years in a row.
