Never wanted these schools or BC in the first place because they are not "all in" for football.

Well, the "best possible safety protocols" would be to never play the game again. Kids get hurt in sports. Sometimes, kids get hurt seriously, such as being paralyzed from the neck down. Sometimes, kids even get killed playing sports.

Their testing process is 2x/week during the practice sessions however if I read the article correctly, the plan was to only test 1x/week once the season started. The players are asking to continue the 2x/week testing once the season starts. I might be wrong but I heard Clemson was testing 3x/week which is great. Can anyone confirm that

I don't know what these players are complaining about.

They get tested, and apparently get the results the next day. My neighbor across the street had Covid, and got tested to see if he was clear now, and it took over a week to get the results. And, after all that waiting, he still tested positive.

At first I thought what the heck, but after reading I do understand the Cuse players wanting to be tested more often than every 2 weeks. And with several players showing symptons that makes sense too.

Play or opt out. Take face-to-face classes or online classes

Alternatives are fine. I can respect any individual decision. However a player or student participation decision should not impact others.
As long as a university is open, it should be OK for sports.
