the shooting at Butler in Charlotte hits a little close

I posted something earlier then took a break, but I really just wanted to share more about David Butler... He was my basketball coach in middle school. and my algebra and geometry teacher. He was one of the first people to make me feel like a part of team, to appreciate math, and to recognize I was pretty good at both.
he was a dorky, tall, beanpole of a guy with 'Coke bottle' glasses. and he died saving his wife and son from a house fire in 1997(98?). He most certainly would have been the teacher trying to make this situation right.
