I understand a lot of us live in this era of news-as-you-like-it, delivered with the proper spin and all, and we want our news to tell us what we want to hear.

On the other hand, actual news has the benefit of being, you know, factual.

Lawrence did in fact say these words. It's a direct quote. An opinion on his part, yes, but an informed opinion considering they're both Georgia boys and in fairly constant communication, especially since they've both done a bunch of camps and visits together.

Lawrence would have a pretty good notion where Hill is going. Not what we might want to hear, but an informed opinion from our headline recruit directly related to another headliner is indeed relevant and newsworthy.

So bravo TNet for posting that tidbit. It was relevant and I'd personally rather know the unvarnished truth.

I mentioned about a week ago or so that Clemson was basically moving on from Hill. No surprise here.
