Such as ______ needs Clemson more than Clemson needs _________.

In theory this sounds good. In reality, it’s a ridiculous statement. The majority of people on this board love Clemson. Not just Clemson football, but Clemson. As great as Clemson is, just like every other institution or organization, it is only as good as the sum of its parts. Let’s go back to before Dabo was hired as our full time head coach. Imagine saying “Dabo needs Clemson more than Clemson needs Dabo.” Maybe looking at a position coach with no head coach experience at the time, many people would have agreed 100% with that statement. The reality was that Clemson needed Dabo just as much as he needed Clemson.

Do we offer every player that is highly rated? No, but we do need the ones that fit our culture and our system, and for us to continue great success we need them just as much as they need us.

This isn’t the only ridiculous statement made on TigerNet. I maybe one of the few but I love the sarcastic trolls on TigerNet.... here’s to you @obed and @tigerbalm... but you guys on here who make these absurd statements need to sharpen your reasoning skills.

I apologize for the emotional rant... gotta go change my pad now.
