here's one thing I do like about Trump

I've said before in here there are reasons, as a conservative, to cast a ballot for him and against Hillary, such as the Supreme Court.
BUT, there is one actual reason to vote FOR him as opposed to merely against Hillary and that is: a vote for Trump is sort of like throwing a molotov cocktail at the DC system. Its like telling Obama, McCain, Hillary, and Romney, and Ryan, and the whole lot of them to go #### themselves. And thats a good a reason as any.

my wife who she was going to vote for.
"Trump", she said.
"Why?", I asked.
"Because I want him to blow up Washington."

announced his campaign. The right and the left have become so extreme and divided, that there is a YUUUGE (see what I did there) population of Americans that essentially have no representation in Washington, and are sick of the current system. I include myself in that group.

It's what our nation needs...

But he's not the one we need to deliver it.
In the long run, he may wind up doing more damage in this regard. The public may be hesitant in the future to flock to a person from outside the establishment.

The more disorganized Washington becomes

the more divisive the nation becomes. We need a real leader, not just a unilateral doer.
Rand Paul 2020. I'm sitting this one out.

If Hillary wins this one you can sit them all out because there will never be another Rep president in this country.

Trump's temperament is risky...

...and Clinton's corruption is disqualifying. A vote for either is a vote for more of the same. I'm sitting this one out as well.
Hopefully, conservatives will nominate a real leader instead of a sacrificial lamb in 2020.

You want to throw a molotov cocktail into D.C. politics, but then when someone literally firebombs the political headquarters of a political party you complain about it.

You're exactly right, and as a matter of fact Michael Moore said the same thing when asked why he thought people supported Trump.
An Orange billionaire who dyes his hair blonde is still a form of hope for many who feel the pain of watching their democracy being destroyed by a a professional political class. However flawed he may be, they want to see Washington blown up.
American's are pizzed because they've been lied too and taken advantage of for the last 30 years.
And you know how they did it? They get numb-nuts like us to kill each other over "liberal" or "conservative" and "gay marriage" and "fighting terrorism". They throw us the meat and we tear into it....while they carve this country up like a pie.
In the 2014 election cycle Congress had an 11% approval rating....and American voters re-elected 96.4% of them.
We're the problem ya'll. And until we stop listening to their dog whistles and fighting each other on cue.....we're going to continue to get screwed.

I told everyone here, if you have ever said you want Washington changed: now is your chance. Nut-up and do it. If you still don't vote for Trump, shuddap.
