If you think this is something unique to China or Communist countries, I recommend you read Upton Sinclair's The Jungle.
We do #### like that here.

No one is going to read that book so just summarize it for other and you are referring to something happened a really long time ago...as in there isn't anyone alive that experienced that...or may be one person. That crap does not happen in 2020 America.

we're not dumping raw food in the street from garbage trucks, but slaughter houses and processing plants today are only a few less rats processed in with the intended processed meats... by the way, you may want to reconsider eating tilapia as well... LOL

Produce processing is just as dirty and nasty. My dad used to work at Dole Foods' bagged lettuce plant in Bessemer City, NC (outside Gastonia), and that facility was disgusting. It smelled awful and the amount of "loss" they had that just sat on the ground on the "assembly line" was terrible.

Upton Sinclair's the Jungle is about Lithuanian immigrants that move to Chicago and work in the meat packing plants.
"The packinghouses are dirty and unsanitary places where every part of the animal is used to make a profit. Often, spoiled meat will be marked as good and sent out for sale. Many of the old or rotten pieces of animals are sold, and even the refuse from drainage is thrown into the pile of meat to be canned or made into sausage. In some of the factories, dead rats are added to the meat. The workers do not care and the factory bosses do everything they can to speed up the production of the meat. Often the factories will hire extra workers just to keep wages down. There are always more men looking for jobs than there are jobs to give, so most men only make a few cents per hour."

Yeah .... oats, cereal, and fillers. That was the problem.

Upton Sinclair was worried about stretching beef with oats, cereal, and fillers.
Yeah, right.
The parallels this today with the rank abuses of a century ago are undeniable!
NOT.

I'm amazed

that the mods moved this from the Football board to the Politics and Religion board. If you look over the Football board, it's jammed with posts about Coronavirus, fishing, cancelled classes, basketball tournaments, triskaidekaphobia, Masters Golf, martial law, Ebola, Trump and whatever the current thought might be.
Maybe I'm confused.... is T-Net run by Twitter and/or facebook?
