We need Brandon Ford to step it up, he has great tools

to be a great player. In CM's offense, we have seen how valuable a sure-handed Tight End is.

Brandon Ford will not have a problem with catching the ball. The only thing I hope he has increased is his blocking capability. As far as catching, he'll be perfectly fine.

With all that depth

do we make MacLain a tackle? I think he played that position in HS

A lot of schools offered him at an OT. He wanted to play TE

However with so many TE on the roster and mroe coming in it might be better for him to move to the OL

Not sure what his abilities are as a duel threat guy, but Michael Palmer provided great blocking skills and could catch the rock in the flats for good yardage. I like the versatility of a good TE. Very valuable position IMO.

I read that Mclain would transfer before he played tackle. With the tight ends that we have recruited, McLain may in up being the odd man out. He should really consider moving to the tackle position.
