Will Clemson always have to go through Alabama

to win a National Championship ??
Let's face it, the SEC as an entity is putting up little to no resistance to the Tide ... every other year, one team plays out of their mind and beats them, but that's it.
UGA ?? Time will tell, but I doubt they have staying power.
Clemson should probably build future teams on the premise of beating Alabama.
The recipe for beating them seems to be:
(1) All world QB - Trevor Lawrence needs to start day 1
(2) Mean, nasty OLine that can dish it more than take it
(3) Mean, nasty front 7 on Defense to stuff the run
(4) All-American kicker to put the ball out of the endzone on Kickoffs and deadly on FG's.
Recruiting wise, we'll need more success getting OLinemen to make this happen.

They could have a year like this year though were they are injured etc. They could also lose their conf championship when the other conferences are stronger. Georgia is on the rise. Maybe the next time a team like Ohio State won't have a blowout loss to a team like Iowa too. Bama wouldn't have been there had Ohio State not been blowout by Iowa. Ohio State is on the rise. There will start to be a Big 10 team in. Penn State is on the rise too.

UGA has staying power with Kirby Smart. He's got a knack for recruiting well. He's also a halftime adjustment genius. That showed the other night with a pretty large deficit going into the half against Oklahoma. It doesn't hurt that he also has a strong Alabama connection that he can recruit staff members from. He will create staying power for UGA and they will be a thorn in both Bama's and Clemson's side for years to come.

That's why I hope Bama wins! GA beat us on several recruits we would have liked to have. Don't need them to have one of these.

All of what you said is true - please add a punter who can kick the ball high and more than 35 yards. Bama's punter had a streak through 7-8 games where not one of his punts was returned.
A great punter is an underrated game changer.
