Years of wear and tear have taken its toll. Not so much worried about the surgery but I heard the healing/recovery is a b*itch. Advise to you young knuckleheads: take care of the dogs.

Bone spur, bunionectomy (never realized there was such a term), and arthritis. Breaking the foot, shaving the bone, resetting the bone with screws, smoothing the spur, cleaning out the arthritis in the joint. Loads of fun.

I broke my femur in several places 16 months ago.

After emergency surgery a titanium rod and 4 huge screws I took pain killers for only 10 days and then switched to IBP. And it took me almost a year to fully recover (ie, be able to jog etc). I still get sore from yard work or extended time on my feet.
I still can’t run well. I broke it playing kickball w the Carolina Panthers. Cam and Luke K loaded me onto the medical cart.
