FSU's performance today just goes to show how important it is to recruit players that are not only physically talented but are also high character guys that really fit your program. According to 24/7 FSU is one of only 5 teams that have a higher talent level than we do.
I know their players have been through a lot of turbulence with Jimbo checking out mentally midseason last year and then leaving them before their bowl game, but I just can't figure out how the product on the field could be that bad. Willie Taggart isn't a great coach by any means, but he has never had a team with this level of talent that just cannot execute.
There's nothing better than having an outstanding coach that is also a great person and hires great assistants that are truly dedicated to their school and players. Having high character coaches that bring in high character players has proven to be an almost unstoppable combination. It's evident how much Dabo puts the players first by how many players play in all of our games compared to other top programs.
