he also saw the "new" D against USuC's "new" POS Offense. I've said it before,Hoke is not a Defensive coordinator these days. His last experience was when the SEC had no offense at all and his D still ranked about 30 nationally.LOL

If you have no offense, the defense will look good in practice.

Coots could end up with a defense outside the top 50 and still be considered much improved.

Clemson could end up with a top 10 defense and be considered taking a step back...

Obviously Usuck's defense can't get much worse than last year so improvement should evident, but can they sustain it? Unless OBC retires soon I tend to doubt it. I also doubt their offense this particular year can remain what it was previously. To me the next two seasons will go a long way in determining USC's future as a program which stays relevant.
