Too much relies on the so called "eye test", history, etc.

If you want it to be fair it has to be expanded to include all undefeated teams from the power 5. Imagine if we hadn't played ND and were undefeated. We wouldn't be in the top 4 more than likely. We would be pissed!

Strength of Schedule, Power Index has nothing to do with expansion. Expansion to 6 or 8 or more teams will occur because of money. There is more money to be made, so expansion will happen.
