The closer the end comes, the more some fear it...

The Sons of Clemson stand just a few days away from utterly and irrevocably ending our years of lamentation.

We are days away from avenging the last loss this team suffered in Death Valley...days away from rising and eviscerating the vile creatures that for far too long have found their amusement in our pain.

Just a few days until the world is made right.

Yet I sense in some an uneasiness, even a fear as the day of our deliverance approaches. They are like those who see the path out of Egypt and fear the journey, rather than joyously celebrate the unshackling.

Do not let the past chain your future. The Sons of Clemson are ready, more than ready to blot out this past and march boldly into the future.

Shake off your fear, join us in heart and voice and march with us.

Change is coming.....

Rise up and seize what has always been ours, Tigers!

There has never been any fear in my blood from a little dirtpecking buzzard. Now I fear we won't hang a hundred points on them. And that is what I'm hoping for.

It's my calmness that worries me. I've been so calm all week , it's scary .

It's not quiet, just the absence of fear...

It's anticipation. The doubters on here are the same old Dabo haters from years ago. The real sons of Clemson know that things are a changin'. We're back among the elite of college football and no sons of the weakest mascot in college football are going to stop us. This train has left the station and most of us are on it.

Yes sir.

My point was I believe there was a reasonable level of optimism going into the Orange Bowl last year and we see where that got us. After that debacle of a D showing against NCSU a realist might just be reasonable to worry about which D will show up for ChickenU. I can always hope for 63-17. Flip a coin, it may or may not happen.

you have to admit, we are playing at a much higher level now vs. the way we were playing at this time last year, do you not agree.
