1.Jimbo Fischer 2.David Shaw 3.Charlie Strong 4.Mike Gundy 5.Art Briles
Jimbo is the main guy right now that's why all "sources" have gone dead silent. It maybe a couple more weeks before we hear anything solid because Texas and Jimbo will wait until the MNC game is decided to announce anything.

Jimbo i think is off the table. Why would he leave FSU when he has got them in the MNC. Shaw i could see though. Even though he has built a yearly Rose bowl team at Stanford. Gundy i dont think would be interested since he is coaching at his alma. Charlie Strong would have probly been my #6. Art Briles could leave Baylor but i just didnt see it happening.

I think James Franklin will be the next Texas coach .
No one on their list would leave where they are .

Chad Morris went to Texas A&M , which is a major strike against him, plus he does not meet the requirements for Texas.

According to some of you, it's:

|
1) Dabo 2) Chad 3) BV 4) Mike Reed 5) Jeff Scott
It's like Texas doesn't have any schools to poach from, outside of the upstate of SC...

He was a former QB at Texas and he obviously knows how things run in Austin. He's also been the offensive coordinator there for a while. Unless the powers that be in Austin plan to clean house, my guess is that they will simply promote Applewhite and keep Brown as an advisor.

leaving Clemson. I think he's really happy here and has more to do here. Texas will go after someone more high profile.
