talking upcoming football season with some guys. Gamecock fan says, "Mushcramp is going to get us back to our tradition! I expect 10 or more wins this year!" I said, "Tradition?!! You all finally got above .500 football a few years back and have only won one conference championship since I've been alive! Well, I guess you can consider that tradition. At least you all have been consistent through the years."

The only long term tradition a GC fan has ever heard is "Wait until Next Year!" Other than playing an out of date movie theme with a student in a chicken suit as their "famed" entry, they have ZERO traditions beyond sending coaches into retirement!

For some truly unknown reason, USuCk fans think they are relevant in the football world. One conference championship in over 100 Years !!! Let that sink in. Then they dropped out of the ACC and joined some made up conference and couldn't win there either. Its much worse than pathetic.

I wonder if that guy has any clue that they don't have a winning record against ANY of the Power 5....the closest is a tie 1-1 record with the Pac 12. Every other conference, including the ACC, they have not been dominating. Goes to show that there are some Gamecocks that completely tried to erase their memory of their reality during the 5 years they ended up on probation for.

I don't give the coots much credit for their wins over OSU.. The Buckeyes were barely even ranked, playing in 3rd rate bowls the years they beat them. When we beat them they were ranked in the top ten playing in elite level bowls. Big difference.
