The way I see it, is that those ESPN analysts leaving Clemson out won't even be allowed in the room with the selection committee. Just a bunch of anti-Clemson jibber jabber.

I can't emphasize this enough - thank goodness for the playoff committee! The ESPN talking heads would jump through as many hoops as it took to leave Clemson out of the playoff. Fortunately, they don't get to decide. If the Tigers win out, we are in. I don't care how pretty or ugly the wins are. There is no, no, no, no, no, no way the committee would leave an undefeated Clemson team out of the playoff.

Herbie's top 4 is legit. The loser of LSU-Alabama will drop out and Oklahoma will move in.

Not in any order: Ohio State, Alabama/LSU, Clemson, Oklahoma. That could be the finish line right there. Ohio State might have difficulty beating Wisconsin twice but I doubt it.

Penn State, I believe, can really upset the apple cart if they find a way to beat O31O. The worst part of that scenario for me is that it opens the door for 2 SEC teams in the playoffs and I never want to see that again.
