I guess Dabo has to worry about something. The thing is with this group of true freshmen OL, the talent is really there and Clemson has upgraded it's talent across the board like never in it's program history. The freshmen OL and DL are about as good as it gets. It takes a little longer, generally, for the OL to develop on the college level, but this group is going to be really good.

Ok. We have now entered the realm of first world problems when our 2nd team o-line is looking a little shaky. Does anyone remember when we were moving O-line and D-line personnel back and forth? Tyler Shatley comes to mind.

Soak in the (as Herbstreit says it) embarrassment of riches we have right now. Tiger fans under 20 don’t understand the heartbreak we middle age and old timers felt in the 90’s and 2k’s.

My son does. He was the only Clemson fan in his class during the 5 peat. I kept telling him, don’t worry it won’t last forever. His middle school years were awful but his high school years were awesome! He’s a sophomore this year at CU!

Tayqwon Johnson was actually recruited as a DT but was moved this Spring to the Offensive side.

Think that was as much from the quality depth on the DLine now as the needs on OL.

Surprised we have two true freshmen backing up Jones at Sam.

Then stop offering and taking gray shirts at such a pivotal position

Way too many kids who should never have been on scholarship at THE elite program. Trotter, Boateng, Stewart... if you are worried about depth, maybe Caldwell needs to start recruiting better or get replaced on the trail. Why can't he be an offensive analyst?

We need Vinson 100%. He needs to be the glue of the second unit that otherwise will be rs fresh and fresh. I get the impression parks and Mayes mean business but just need more time. Throw in the cast of RS fresh (Rayburn and company) and we should be OK.

Time for Clemson to start hitting that free agent transfer portal market.

I agree ^^^. I wonder if some of those OL’s from Ohio St or Michigan want to come on down since they’re not playing? J/K

You can expect All-Conference transfers will be suiting up for UGA, LSU, Bama, FLA, AUB, Oklahoma and Texas this year. Do any other programs have a "no transfer" rule like Swinney? This policy could be impactful for our playoff competition this year.
