Surprised that UVA accepts JUCO transfers in football.

For purported academic reasons, Clemson hasn’t taken a JUCO transfer in a long, long time.

How does a bastion of academic purity like “Mister Jefferson’s University” justify the practice?

I guess if you need a QB, you need a QB.

Bryce Perkins is an exception. He was accepted at Az State

But he broke his neck as a freshman and spent a long time in recovery.

His year in JUCO wasn’t because of academic problems.

JUCO usually indicates some sort of issues with academics, but not always.
