is their QB could have made a sandwich with all the time he had to pass late in that game. And FSU has a great DL.
I hope we can get some kind of pressure on their QB and cover their WRs. But it will be up to Tajh & Co. to put the game safely out of reach with productive series every time or close to it.

That same NC St. team also lost to UVA at home but 31 points.
They are a very fickle team, but I expect to win tomorrow.

NCSU team kind of like we did last year. I can guarantee you that will not be the case this year. As Dabo has been saying all year, we just need to play with consistency and to the high level that we have come to expect. We will be fine in this one.

they're giving up 3 sacks/ game right now, and that doesn't mean they're giving Glennon a lot of time to throw.
As for their game against FSU, I think they won because they held FSU scoreless in the second half. They did score 17 in a half, but all FSU had to do to win that game was kick one measly field goal in two quarters. So if Clemson can keep scoring and do just as ok job on defense, I think they'll win.

i know that at one point the avg. starting position for state was inside our 20,or something close to that.if we hold on to the ball and not give them the short field, we will cover the spread. if we do like we did last year, it will be a long day. i say we hold on to it. clemson 37- state 17.

need pressure up front.
They are ranked 27th nationally in passing and 30th in points given up so their defense is not a push over either.
We don't give up any long plays on defense and our offense plays up to snuff and hangs on to the ball we should be OK.

Tigers will be fine. FSU lost because Jimbo fisher had a brain freeze for the entire 2nd half - less than 100 total yards of predictable call playing that lead to consistent 3 and outs.

and the Tigers have not been "flat" yet this year , IMO.
Not a game to take lightly.

I would recommend that NCSU bring an entirely different group of players if they want to stay with CLEMSON.
