Much as it was fun to mock them - especially Boat Disaster 2020 in the bottom pic - I actually think they helped.

Anything organic and spontaneous that shows enthusiasm and solidarity is good for your cause and Trump's really good at this kind of stuff. Mind, he kept playing to his base and only his base at the expense of actually expanding that base and that does ultimately seem to have done him in...but Oh My did he ever extract max turnout from the group he was playing to.

They definitely augmented the vote in Trump's favor

Establishment reliable republican vote wasn't going to be enough.

The question now is what happens to that bloc of voters. Would they accept a moderate GOP candidacy of say Nikki Haley? Or will they only gravitate back with a return of Trump (or one of his sons) to the ballot?

According to this board...

All those Trump trains and boat parades and people at rallies told us that Trump had a lot more energy going for him so that means he was gonna win. That's what people said. Boat parades = win.

Do I do it? Do I tag him to the thread?

I dunno... Maybe I shouldn't... Okay, let's tag him. T3Tiger®, c'mon down!

Well, it has been a record-setting turnout and vote total for a Republican presidential candidate, so it's hard to say that these events and the rallies didn't help get that number out.

A couple in here were obsessed with rally size in here the other day.

Nov 6, 2020, 3:56 PM

If only the candidate with the bigger rallies wins, right @Snowtown?

So when I voted on Nov 3, I was behind the Lt Gov. of SC

Nov 6, 2020, 4:13 PM

she along with her party were making fun of the Biden rallies and talking about how great and big the Trump rallies were. They even made fun of a car where someone put that window chalk stuff on it and wrote Biden 2020. Called it weak. They were pretty pompous
