What player improved the most during the offseason?

Nov 20, 2019, 12:26 PM

With Joe Burrow having an average year last year at LSU to being the front runner for the heisman this year made me think about what Clemson player improved the most during his time here. Just off the top of my head im probably going to go with Kevin Dodd. Not many people knew who he was until his last year. If im not mistaken, he was in the top category for sacks and tackles for loss in 2015. He also went to be a 2nd round draft pick and is still currently playing in the league

Skalski, Simmons, Nolan Turner, Tanner Muse

it's tough to pick one.

Muse came to mind. Simmons was doing this last year. Just was overshadowed by the recognition our front 4 received.

Simmons certainly had a good year last year

But I don't think he was just overshadowed. He's had a year that has put him into top 10 draft pick status.

Jackson Carman has gone to another level. I think his freshman year was a shock to his system.

Simmons' finished up last year in the stratosphere. His rapid improvement was DURING last season, not after. This year is a continuation.
