Seems like someone in the CFP committee should have raised a concern:

Undefeated top team - Bama
Top 1 loss team - UGA
No 2 loss teams
Top 3 loss teams - FLA, LSU
Top 4 loss teams - MSST, A&M

Top OOC wins by each of those teams (bottom of the ACC)
Bama (Louisville)
UGA (GT - only team with a winning conference record)
FLA (FSU)
LSU (Miami)
MSST (No power 5 OOC)
A&M (No power 5 wins)

and Missouri (Purdue)

but it is necessary. But make no doubt about it, the ACC has stunk it up this year, especially against Power 5 opponents. What P-5 wins does the conference have? Just 4(Clemson and Duke. That HAS to improve.

Duke beat Northwestern
Duke beat Baylor
Clemson beat Tex A&M
Clemson beat U5uC

BC lost to Purdue
GT lost to USF(not P5) and UGA
FSU lost to UF
Lville lost to Bama and KY
Miami lost to LSU
UNC lost to Cal
NC State would have lost to WV
Pitt lost to PSU and ND
Cuse lost to ND
UVA lost to Indiana
VT lost to ND
Wake lost to ND

Not real impressive outside of Clemson and Duke.
