SEC Commissioner was on Finebum’s show...

He said that the SEC went to a 10 game schedule to get out of the guarantee games like FCS schools like Furman, Citadel, etc. and because they have a week between games and the SEC Championship game, teams could go back and add an 11th game to play the state rival non conf games.
He kept saying this is a fluid situation and will change...

...later than ACC on 9/26 with a 10 game (plus 1 open week for total of 11 weeks) slate that would end on Saturday, 12/5. The only opportunity to play the USuC game would be 12/12. But the ACC announced the ACCCG is either going to be 12/12 or 12/19. So I don't see anyway that could happen.
