Painting the field, sprucing up the conference room, etc.
Speculation is the announcement will be tomorrow.
The main rumor is that Matt Campbell is the man.
Some are still saying it will be Bob Stoops.
I've read reports on the net that Franklin met with FSU administration. But, this board is the only place I've seen the rumor that he will be the guy.
I'm sticking by my Sunday prediction: I think Campbell will step out from behind the curtain.

I strongly disagree. Taggart has a career losing record before he went to FSU.

I like Campbell. All, he needs is good recruiting territory. He will discipline that team as well if true.

is he gets them ready for the big game. I think a lot of "upsets" for Iowa St during Campbell's tenure, no?

Who hasn’t lost a single game by more than 14 points in the past 3 years. Even Ohio State, Clemson and Alabama had done that least once in that span.
Shows that he always has his teams ready to go

I dont mean any offense, but I'm not sure why Franklin would leave Penn St for FSU. At best it's a lateral move as far as prestige and while there is a solid recruiting area PSU can go to to toe for recruits anywhere. Plus winning there isnt that much easier than where he is at. That said, I think Day is building a monster in Columbus, so maybe he is willing to roll the dice. Now Campbell or Mike Stoops is a much different story. I think Stoops did an amazing job down the stretch at UK.

I want to see Campbell in a bigger seat. He's gotten so many accolades the last 3 years for what he's done at ISU I'm tired of hearing it.
Let's see if this guy can handle the big time where expectations are sky high every year.
I'm not yet convinced he can.

fan I would be really pi$$ed. His record is unimpressive and screams Willie Taggart part two. There are far better candidates than him.

Campbell is an excellent choice for FSU. Comes out of the Mount Union program as a player. google Mt. Union if you're not familiar. Not easy to recruit at Ames, Iowa. Thought he might end up at Ohio State when Urban retired.
I predict James Franklin will move to the real USC.
