Rivalries

This morning I was teaching a middle school class at my church (in Chattanooga, TN) and was discussing rivalries... Batman vs Joker, WalMart vs Amazon, and of course sports rivalries. When it came for discussion of sports rivalries, the kids cam up with the following (in order):

Boyd Buchnanan vs Silverdale (local private high schools)
Alabama vs Auburn
Ole Miss vs Miss State
Clemson vs Alabama

No Tennessee vs anybody.
No Georgia vs anybody
Not Clemson vs South Carolina
BUT Clemson vs Alabama.

These middle school kids who are in Tennessee come up with Clemson vs Alabama as a major rivalry.

My how far we have come.
