Wasn't feeling all that great Sat morning, but made the trip to Clemson any how figuring a little food and drink would make me feel fine.
Darn if it didn't hit me like a freight train during the 2nd quarter. Had to leave the game early and head home. Thank god for my GF as she drove us home as I don't remember anything but fever, aches, freezing, and burning up all at the same time.
Been in the Bed all but a few hours since getting home. Nasty Flu bug this year. Get your shot if you didn't already (I didn't...but now regret it).

Last Flu shot I had was when I was at Clemson (would have been fall of 98).
Never had much problem with the flu. I've I had it, it's only been 2-3x and never last more than 3-4 days.
This one changed my mind this year though....

Man hate that for ya, I was late in getting mine this year (last Wed) hoping I don't get it in next 3 weeks it takes to fully protect.

Not yet.
Didn't get a shot, however. I haven't had one in 3 seasons.
Maybe I am pushing my luck, but since I am retired, I don't have as much contact with people.

No need to get a flu shot. You have gotten the flu virus this year already. And it seems to be a bad strain. Therefor your bodies immune system has fought it off and built up immunity to it. So, the next time it comes around you will not get it because you are already immune to it. Don't ever get a flu shot or most other vaccines for that matter.

My wife got sick Saturday morning. I had to stay home from the game Saturday to look after her and the girls.

Almost saw a fight break out in the 2nd qtr. Some young punk kept saying "Mutherf*****n N" during cadence count. Couple of old school dudes about threw him some haymakers on him till he wised up and sat down and shut up.
