Can UVA be ranked tomorrow?

They're right at the top of the "others receiving votes" piles. Sadly for them the only upset near them in the polls was VT which they caused. Games on right now could help them. If Kansas State beats Iowa State and Oklahoma can beat Oklahoma State, then UVA is in the top 25. If just one of those win happen then they're going to be just in or a near miss in the polls.

Seriously, does it make one itsy bitsy bit of difference for what happens with Clemson? We beat them next Satdy and we're in the playoff whether they are ranked or not.

It's still more fun to play a ranked team imo. It's good for the ACC to have 2 ranked teams in the championship. You can only care about Clemson and that is fine but it is good for our conference to be respected so yes UVA being ranked matters to many of us.

Sorry, it looks like UVA is more likely to make the AP poll than the Coaches poll.

? they should be in the top 25. A couple of ranked teams dropped out. Iowa St lost. Of course, VT. They were #27 from the poll I saw. With Oklahoma State, Iowa St and VT. losing. They get in.

We were 24th. They probably weren't far out. My guess is that they jump in at #25.
Then fall back out of the final rankings after you guys curb stomp them.

You are correct. VT is #23 AP/Coaches Poll and #24 in the CFP poll. Every early poll I see has VT just out and UVA coming in.

UVA ranked 22 in the latest Coaches Poll. VT dropped to near the bottom of the others pile.
