Says I'm pretty good. Guy couldn't start anywhere after he left clemson. He sucked period. Fumbled, to skinny, not much shake and bake, no vision, no pass protection, didn't catch it well. He was a track guy trying to play football.

He was a head case ...but his running ability and puee speed were never in doubt . Kid could have been very special in our offense . First touch went for about 60 yd TD , and he took maybe his only carry against VT in that 4th quarter and took it to the house for the dagger score . Yeah , he just didn't have the right make up mentally to succeed under Dabo Swinney . Shame .

Kid was terrible time has already told his story and anyone that brings up star rating about how good he was is living in a dream world. Stars don't mean cap proformence does.

Then you haven't ever watched his film ? His performances were stellar . Watch his HS film and you will see that he was an elite RB , and had he have developed at Clemson probably would have become elite at this level too .

I watched his hs film it looked great. The coaches were scared to play him because he fumbled and couldn't block. He couldn't start or really even play at even some of the lower levels of college football. He is more legend than actual player to Clemson people.

If you mean I would rather forget about a lazy over hyped rb and was a head case and just a problem at Clemson your right then. I choose to talk about players that think represent Clemson in a positive light. Plus missing on bellamy set Clemson back 2 years at RB. We passed over several good backs to get him.

is saying and what a lot of people seem to remember about Bellamy. He absolutely had some problems in those areas. Ball security was a big issue for him, he couldn't block, and his vision, patience and just overall running instincts were a bit questionable which led to a lot of negative and no gain type of runs.
That said, he was electric in space and absolutely could have contributed at Clemson. He did average 6.0 ypc despite his problems, and it was really just the ball security and blocking that got him in the dog house (maybe attitude too, but that didnt come out until later). Given some time it's likely he could've improved enough in those areas to see more time.
He wasn't going to be the super elite player that many here seem to think he was going to be though.

evaluation.
Disagree with you on Bellamy though - kid had all the talent in the world, he obviously wasted it though. Kid did need to gain some muscle/weight.
Think if he'd stayed at Clemson (his behavior did him in) we would have developed him into a stud RB - Warrick Dunn style.
Think when he was dismissed from Clemson - it really broke his stride.
Shame - waste of talent

Dunno.. only time I saw him off the field was in fike. Most red-eyed, stoned student I saw @ Clemson

Just cheesing, like he purposely opted not to use eye-drops so ppl would know he could handle his green intake. Was extremely dissappointed by it, but more disappointed by how bad he is at basketball.
I've lived with and hung around HUNDREDS of smokers, never seen any as stoned as this kid was at a public gym.
Defined the word team cancer and wasn't surprised at all to hear of Clemson parting ways with him.

I loved to watch Bellamy run, and the dagger to the heart at VT was an all-time classic.
BUT... The kid never learned how to block (or just refused to). He did not know the plays and Tajh had to direct him almost every time he entered the playing field. He fumbled too often (something to do with the way he carried the ball). He did not show any maturity when he scored, but mostly acted like a #######.
Anyway, I wish the kid the best, but he blew his opportunities the moment he left CLEMSON. All he had to do was to buy into the RIGHT WAY to grow as a football player. He simply wanted to "be like Mike".

Fun to watch. Was frustrating that he couldn't hold onto the ball and had an attitude. There's no reason to believe he wouldn't have eventually achieved the status here that the other 5* in that class did -- Sammy, Stephone & Tony. Just a head case and unfortunately selfish.
I recall him tearing it up in the Spring game of his SOPH year before fumbling (again). A few weeks later we learned he was dismissed.
Wasted talent. Even though VT wasn't great that year, he made those guys look like high schoolers en route to the Tiger's 3rd straight victory over a ranked opponent that year.
