Tony Elliott vs Jeff Scott

I know that both coaches have separate duties as CoOCs, but I wonder what distinguished Elliott from Scott. I hear that Elliott is a super smart guy and is head coach material. Of this I have no doubt and love that we have the equivalent of 3 HCs on our staff. I just wonder what caused them to vote for Elliott and not Scott. Do we know if Scott was even considered for the position? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Either way, I'm glad that we have both and hope that we win at least two more National Titles with them. Congrats Tony and Go Tigers!!

Each HC can only nominate one Assistant on his staff per year. I'd imagine next year will be Jeff Scotts year.
