Republican Party is the 'most dangerous organisation

in Human History" `Noam Chompsky.
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/noam-chomsky-republican-party-most-dangerous-organisation-human-history-donald-trump-administration-us-america-a7730086.html?jwsource=cl
“It’s an outrageous statement and when I said it, I said ‘Look, this is a very outrageous statement’”. he said. “But it’s true.”
“What does it mean to say not only are we not doing anything about climate change but we’re trying to accelerate the race to the precipice?
“It doesn’t matter whether they genuinely believe it or not… if the consequence of that is ‘let’s use more fossil fuels, let’s refuse to subsidise developing countries, let’s eliminate regulations that reduce greenhouse gases’. If that’s the consequence, that’s extremely dangerous.”
The academic has previously claimed the Republicans are “overwhelmingly” committed to destroying human life on earth.
Asked about the consequences of Donald Trump’s presidency, Mr Chomsky replied: “The main damage he’ll do is to the world, and it’s already happening.
"The most significant aspect of the Trump election – and it’s not just Trump, it’s the whole Republican Party – is their departing from the rest of the world on climate change."

I would say he advocates against everything you just mentioned. And for what it is was worth, he was the first voice of reason during the entire Russia Gate, screaming from the top of the mountain that it was a big nothing burger, long before anyone else on the left was willing to do so, or understood that it was all about the trump tower deal and little else.

What a joke of a concept.
If your pet issue is climate change, you better look at the developing nations first. Second, you should support nuclear power.

Why developing nations first? Shouldnt we look at those countries who pollute the most?

you have it backwards, it is consumption that causes climate change, consupmtion is the causation of manufacturing, not the driver. I know this is tough concept for you supply side folks. If we were not buying tons of useless crap every year from India and China, then they would not be dumping so much CO2 into the air and reproducing like rabbits.
and when you live on a planet with finite natural resources and carrying capacity, and also depend on an economic model that requires infinite growth to sustain itself, the system is ultimately doomed to fail.

The idea that riding a bike, driving a prius, taking

public transportation to eliminate greenhouse gasses is a corporate redirection of blame.
Like BP asking customers to carpool to save the planet when they dumped tons of oil in the Gulf.
The truth is, there is not much individuals can do. Everybody in the world can ride bikes to work and it still would barely put a dent into the carbon footprint of manufacturing pollution in China, India, and the United States.
Doesn't mean something needs to be done, you're just trying to use a false equivalency argument.

The difficulty is in Meal prep. If you are going to eat healthy and cook at Home, Vegan meals are a pain. I mostly eat out. I love seafood, although technically that would make me a pescataian.

the brain capacity to understand that what balm is talking about and what I'm talking about is not connected.
Riding a bike or driving a prius i.e. automotive greenhouse gasses does not equate to manufacturing pollution.
I'm sure you'll try to figure out some other false equivalency or strawman.
I know! Why don't you go see if it's cold outside and then tell us global warming is a lie because you have to wear a coat.

So what has Trump done in the last 4 years that is going to destroy the world? I’ll wait. What a stupid article and even more dumb that someone thought it was so important that they needed to share.
