Latest rumors about Stoops to FSU.

I played golf this afternoon. When I got off the course Nole websites are full of stuff saying that Stoops is NOT coming to FSU. The rumors are there was mutual interest and serious discussions but Stoops decided not to come.
Now Nole fans are upset with all the websites that ran with the information about Stoops. Interesting. I have seen no website saying it was a done deal, signed and sealed. I have not even seen a website saying that the deal "will be finalized" in the near future.
Fans are amazing. We want every bit of scuttlebutt we can find. We love the fact that websites can "give us the scoop" before the mainstream media can.
Then, we get ticked off with them when they do exactly what we want them to do.
As for Stoops coming, I'm less positive about his chances now than yesterday. But, I never thought it was a done deal in the first place.

FSU Prez is a career politician, not well experienced in university athletics. He hired a friend of his, who is also not experienced, as the AD.
If we don't get Stoops, it could get ugly. Might not, but could.
I can certainly hope it isn't as bad at TN.

Heck, yesterday, I suggested Bobby come back with 2 of his sons on the staff. Along with Richt, Mickey Andrews and a few others from the old days.
