It is uncharacteristic of our players to give opponents ammo for a game. I believe Jadar just did that and disappointing to be honest with u because u know it is printed in their locker room now..
I hope he can backs it up with a couple interceptions.

He was just answering the question. It's hard to think every question through perfectly. " Locker room material" is overrated. When the game starts you are just focusing on what you need to do to win and any smack talk goes out the window.
If you need that to pump you up you are going to lose anyway

Agree. He was just answering the question. He is confident in the defense.....and made it clear that he was not scared to play Ohio State. I appreciate his openness throughout his whole 14 min interview.

It is all good either way.

Nick....I found nothing wrong with what Jadar said. I think he's right in that the Tigers have seen better QB's. Barrett over-all is a so so passer..if he can't run..they can't win .

I love the classic position of never giving your opponent something for the bulletin board. Keep the answers gracious and respectful. Complement your opponents, then absolutely unload on them between the lines letting your play speak for itself.
Jadar is a great player and seems to be a solid team leader, but he writes a lot of checks with his mouth. I do appreciate him telling it like it is, but some stuff is for the broad public and other stuff is meant to be kept in-house.

the best coaches ever to coach the game didn't and don't like giving bulletin board material. As a matter of fact, they loved/love getting bulletin board material. There just isn't anything to be gained by giving material. I prefer that everyone says the Tigers don't have a chance, that Watson is overrated etc. I hated all the preseason hype we were getting. I prefer they are playing with chips on their shoulders. Usually works better that way.
