their loss against a 4-8 South Carolina team, be the worst loss of any team to make the playoffs ever? I’m almost positive it would be, I’m trying to think of others that would come close, perhaps our loss to Pitt comes close but other than that there isn’t too much. Maybe Oklahoma’s loss to an eventual 5-7 Texas team under Charlie Strong back in 2015.

Our loss to Pitt was to a team that went 8-4 (vs 4-8) and it was by 1 on a 55 yard field goal. UGA was also a 25 point favorite (we were an 18 point favorite).

And that Pitt team beat Big-10 champion Penn State.
It always amazes me how even many Tiger fans have been indoctrinated by the SEC nonsense. That PITT team was very good, and not at all comparable to this SC team.
