Wccp FM commercial where the woman yells at her husband to fix the heat. She is so nagging, I hate that commercial! And pretty much all the other commercials on that station also. Either that guy needs to fix the darn heat, or call the friggin repairman ! Okay, I feel better now, my rant is over

It is difficult for schools to secure a flagship station. They are not lining up for the job.
Clemson's only real choices were WCCP and WGOG in Walhalla and WGOG turned Clemson down because Clemson wanted too much money. WGOG went with Furman for zero dollars. Doesn't SC use an AM station with a limited signal range?

USuck uses FM 107.5 a sports station here in Columbia. Clemson has done a better job lately of securing broadcasts on a statewide basis.

Most of their commercials are terrible. ... just like every other radio station. And in general I'd rather listen to clemson-focused radio than general sports talk. So I just flip the channel whenever commercials start or Walt says "let me tell you about my friends at XYZ".
And no, I don't care about THE SAUCE at whatever that pizza restaurant is.

whoever does ads on WCCP obviously doesn't have any professional input on them. You're supposed to make ads INTERESTING, not cringeworthy.
I do give Mickey props for bringing back the Mother's Finest bumper music this AM though. Long time coming.
