Since the Feaster Tenneessee visit

Dec 8, 2015, 4:18 PM

I'm always just a little nervous when he gets hit on by other schools, especially the coots. Do you honestly think he would de-commit to our program, where he will obviously play for championships vs the coots where he will be fighting that dumpster fire for at least the next 3-4 years? I hope not.

First of all, you worry too much.

Dec 8, 2015, 4:32 PM

Secondly, Feaster is not going anywhere.

Gallman is probably going to the NFL. Feaster will be the feature back next year with Choice being the backup.

Wait, I thought Gallman had at least one more year? And yes, I do worry too much.

He's a redshirt Sophomore and there's a pretty good chance he goes pro.

Gallman isn't going pro this year.

Dec 8, 2015, 4:52 PM [ in reply to First of all, you worry too much. ]

Unless he is desperate for money, he won't be drafted in the top 3 rounds, if at all. He needs another year to get bigger and develop his skills. He lacks the size or speed at this point to be a pro.

So let me get this straight Wayne has been here for 3 years and he needs to stay another year to get bigger ? If all he needs is weight then no way he should stay Clemson . I said this weeks ago and was told I was crazy. It's nice seeing others agree . Some clown on here said he wouldn't go before the 5th round and would most likely be a UDFA lol Good times .

2015 RB taken in rounds 1-3 8
2014 RB taken in rounds 1-3 8
2013 RB taken in rounds 1-3 6
2012 RB taken in rounds 1-3 7
2011 RB taken in rounds 1-3 8

Here are some of the top RB for this years draft.

Ezekiel Elliott
Paul Perkins
Devontae Booker
C.J. Prosise
Alex Collins
Byron Marshall
Derrick Henry

You are telling me Wayne isn't better than most of these guys ? Can they be used in the passing game like Wayne ?

Wouldn't put him ahead of any of them***

How about the 2017 draft ?

Leonard Fournette
Dalvin Cook
Royce Freeman
Nick Chubb
James Conner
Corey Clement
Sony Michel
Samaje Perine

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I personally would not trade him for any of them!

Dec 8, 2015, 7:03 PM [ in reply to Wouldn't put him ahead of any of them*** ]

I don't know how he projects in the draft but I sure hope he stays 2 more years. If that causes a 'Johnny 5 Star' to go elsewhere the so be it. The Wayne Train is one of the best RBs I've seen at Clemson in a long time. Very undervalued player.

I def look forward to seeing Mr Feaster get in the mix at RB too.

NFL puts a lot of stock in measurables. He would not be in the top 8 RBs drafted.

Man you are right check out these monsters that went in rounds 1-3 form 2013-2015

How about we compare Wayne Gallman 6'1",215

Ameer Abdullah, 5-8¾, 205 lbs

Duke Johnson, 5-9?, 207 lbs

Bishop Sankey, 5-9½, 209 lbs

Jerick McKinnon, 5-8?, 209 lbs

Dri Archer, 5-7¾, 173 lbs

Tre Mason, 5-8½, 207 lbs

Giovani Bernard, 5-8?, 202 lbs

Montee Ball, 5-10½, 214 lbs

Christine Michael, 5-10, 220 lbs

Knile Davis, 5-11?, 227 lbs

Re: Gallman isn't going pro this year.

#1 I don't buy for a second that Gallman is 215 lbs. Todd Gurley was listed as 6'-1" 222 lbs and was a monster compared to Gallman.

#2 Considering that that just about all of those examples are around his weight but several inches shorter than him, it shows that they are bulkier than he is.

#3 Most of those examples are considerably faster than Gallman. Knile Davis is 230lbs and runs a sub 4.4 40. Gallman is probably around a 4.7 40.

For his height and speed he would need to be in the 230 range to be effective and also not run so upright.

No way is Gallman going pro this year.... I love him but I think he'd likely go pretty late in the draft this year. Needs to solidify himself as a big time RB and get the draft stock up.

Plus, he's got a bunch of talented younger team mates that know they're all coming back for another shot at a title next season. As long as DW4 is at CU, likely so will Gallman. And there is PLENTY of room for Feaster to come on and contribute if he's ready. Our RB corps has been the Gallman show and he needs some help. Fuller and Brooks are def serviceable but it'd be SWEET if we could get another thunder and lightning type situation, if you guys know what I mean?

Feaster will just jump at the opportunity to play for Will Muschamp and the Capons, who will be lucky to win five games next year, rather than the No. 1 ranked team in the nation with an All-Conference offensive line.

Wow Neal, are you that insecure and angry that you belittle and attack people, you don't even know, because of a post that you disagree with on a public sports forum? If so, man check into some anger management programs or even some meds. I am sorry to have evoked such a response, I'll try not to #### you off in the future. Stay calm, be nice!
