Or that ND is trying to back out of joining? They have already postponed it by a year to give them time to completely back out.
Or that UVA has already agreed to join the BIG10?
Or that the BIG10 is trying to get to 20 teams? All six will likely come from the ACC.
Or that after the BIG10 makes their selections the SEC will grab UN/Duke or NCST/VaT or maybe FSU/VaT?
Or that Clemson was supposed to join the Big12 last summer but got cold feet?
Or that I have been reading a WVU message board? What a bunch of deluded goobers.

The story is that ND wanted to join in 2014 but negotiations with the Big East haven't worked so far. So they decided to play the 2013-2014 basketball season in the BE assuming the catholic 7 stay for that season. The commitment to the BE ends in something like Jan 2015 without penalty. By then, the catholic 7, louisville, syracuse and pitt will all be gone from BE.

UVA to the BIG 10 ? If that were happening they wouldn't have kicked Penn State to the curb and replaced them with Oregon.
Like you said, WVU is on an island now regretting their decision.
Check had bad UMD recruiting stunk this year. Waving the BIG 10 flag didn't help them any.

post. my old stomping grounds from bessie road to the "cable" at the saluda river by the old mill, playing b-ball at the community building in "downtown", owning( by play) the old ball park off transylvania street,although i did pretty dang good at williamstons' fields,too. i'll be danged if we (clemson) will be relegated to the socon, piedmont will riot, i guarantee it.

my dad went to WVU, but the wvu bloggers make it really hard to not hate them. i don't say it in front of family, but i seriously hope the pac12 devours the big12 and leaves wvu relegated to the conference USA or MAC.
just to give a taste of the idiocy, one guy even said that ND was going to go to the B1G as a partial member, playing only 3 B1G games (the other teams in their pod), but still being eligible for the B1G playoff by winning the pod. problem is, the B1G would NEVER agree to that in a million years and, more significantly, the NCAA does NOT even allow multi round conference championship playoffs.
there is not a more wretched group of inbred, mouth breathing, knuckle draggers in the nation.

I think that group would drive me crazy. I'm sure there are some good WVU fans, but the bloggers and message board gurus are terrible.
If they were in the ACC they would immediately replace UNC as the most hated group of fans.
