Can't believe some of the rediculousness I'm reading

on T-net, though I should not be surprised.

'Cuse needs to lose. Come on guys. I get it you can't get over our loss. I can't either. But elevating Syracuse to a team capable of winning out.

They play Miami at Miami. I will go out on a limb here and guarantee that as a loss.

They play FSU at FSU. 'Cuse loses.

They play Wake at home, at Loisville, and BC at home. I'll give them two wins out of those three but that is by no means a lock.

Best case final record in the ACC for 'Cuse: 4-4. They are not in the picture.

Sounds like Syracuse was a bad loss.

Miami probably should win, but they have lost their running back. Syracuse has a lot of confidence now and, frankly, their offense is better than Miami's. Syracuse's problem is depth and emotion is only going to carry them so far. That's their biggest issue.

Cuse could also lose to Notre Dame...

That's a bold move, Cotton.

Cuse doesn't matter. NC State leads the Atlantic with Clemson in spot 2. We beat NC State and all 3 don't lose another game, it's done. Clemson will be the higher ranked and win the 3 way tie breaker. Only reason Clemson has to worry about Cuse is if NC State loses another ACC game beyond Clemson, and Syracuse and Clemson both win out, which is unlikely for Cuse.

I could look back on it and think, "how could I have been so wrong?" but I'm 99.999999% certain that all we have to do is win out to get to the ACCCG. I just don't see 'Cuse as a factor, given their remaining schedule. Yeah, I know, I also didn't see 'Cuse as a "factor" last friday night! LOL.
