At what point does a primary challenge become impossible

for incumbent Senate Republicans? If the fear is that, if they vote for impeachment they will be primaried on the right, at what point does that become an impossibility for Trump and his minions to promote a winnable challenge to their seats?
That would be a good time to have the impeachment vote.

I think by March 2020, a majority of the states Senate primaries are complete. Some come sooner, a few later.

What the majority of Americans want. Right now, it's too 50/50 to go one way. But if the clear majority shifts in one direction in regards to impeachment, both parties will adjust to keep their jobs.

towards impeachment and conviction. I would imagine that will continue as new evidence emerges almost daily in testimony.
By Spring, the numbers will be even higher and the potential political blowback will be minimized.

Do you think Deep State John Bolton has anything to add in testimony about the "drug deal" before the House?

I haven't actively kept up with it. I have a job, and something resembling a life, so honestly, I don't waste many processing cycles on this stuff.
So..how about those powerball numbers?

I'm always amused when people who have spent hours arguing on this board in the past try to deflect by pretending they're the only ones with a job or a life when the discussion goes in a direction they don't like.
Yes, yes. All of us here without lives bow down to your amazing life that you come here to tell us about.

I just said I have other stuff to do than worry about what someone says about someone else. Just one day later, and it already doesn't matter.
I'm not surprised you are offended by that.

I think everyone is thinking of the Presidential primary calendar, where it's mostly done by March.
However, state primaries go into September. Some states only have a few weeks of a general election.

Let the White House stonewall and blanket obstruct and drag this out.

I would be much more concerned with the House Dems that would have to go on record to vote to even begin this nonsense. Hence, the reason Piglosi will not call for a House vote.
