were at a decided disadvantage Saturday because of the lack of competition in this pathetic conference. Not the only reason we lost, but when you are never challenged it is tougher to play a good team. Take Clemson and FSU out of the mix,and this conference is the MAC and Sun Belt,no exaggeration. Fla State will not stay in this conference, and it will be even more of a laughingstock. We have done a remarkable job recruiting, but it is going to get harder because of how poor this conference is. We certainly be hooked in with FSU or have another exit plan OR Clemson football is going down the tubes in this blue conference.

Unless GT rids themselves of PJ. He should have left the option @ Navy. Fell in love with it there but ran the spread at Valdosta St.
As for UVA maybe next coach, maybe this one, haven't had a good look at them.
UNC & Miami just have to get past the sanctions, imo, made good hires, as I expect NCST will do.

Another MYTH, How many ranked teams

did Clemson play in 1980 ? 2 , that's all . The weak conference argument doesn't hold water. The ACC was weak then, it's weak now.
2 years ago when the offense looked like crap , Dabo said in an interview "he needed superstars"(note he didn't mention conference affiliation). Now that's what he need on the Defense, superstar defensive lineman that command double teams.1 0r 2 is all it takes.

As long as GT, FSU, and Clemson are together the conference will be ok.
In my estimation, a conference with FSU, Clemson, Louisville, VT, GT, and Miami is pretty darn good. I'd really love to see Louisville go to the Coastal and Syracuse to join then so we could bring UNC and Duke over to the Atlantic and get all five Carolina schools in the same division. I think it would be good for the conference as far as travel and fan interest.
