And is exactly why he has not allowed himself to get too geeked up about the college football season. COVID is the great wrecker of our hopes and dreams. And it is a virus doing virus things. All of us are vulnerable. COVID is not a respecter of men.
Sure wish it wasn't our guy, but this was surely going to happen.
Any Natty this year, even if our Tigers win it, is an Asterisk Natty.

I'll take a Natty with an asterisk over no football and be very happy about it.
When we win Natty's, COVID or no COVID, the Bamas, the OSUs, and the ESPNs will make excuses anyway.

The only reason why I don't think it will be an asterisk season is because I think covid will be an issue for a few more years. Its not a 1 season deal.
