is what the Lounge is saying.

Is there any truth to that? I wanted to ask the Mane Board before I went public in my blog.

Relax, he just REALLY likes the way it smells.***

I heard he was giving away his Harley recently, so there has got to be something to that.

What's NewSpring?***

It's a spring. And it's not like "new" but it's new because

[2]
Posted: Apr 16, 2014 1:18 PM

someone found it and hadn't known about it previously. Obviously springs don't just appear...so it isn't "new".

So the guy that found the spring (the one that isn't new but rather one that he discovered) called it a new spring. And since the guy and the spring are Arkansas and his English isn't so good he forgot the space and went with newspring.

Kind of like how Arkansas got it's name. Folks from Kansas moved there and called it Our Kansas but then Arkansas languaged it and it became Arkansas.

know nothing about Noble and blow but

he looks and sounds like a con man to me.

I don't think our staff is violating anyone's constitutional rights, BUT it would look a lot better if our players were walking to First Baptist (or Holy Trinity Episcopal or Fort Hill Presbyterian or University Lutheran or St. Andrew's Catholic) or driving to Clemson United Methodist (or the Unitarian or Congregationalist churches) on their own rather than being carried out to the middle of nowhere to some made-up church led by a rocknroll con artist. That is all.

A big chunk of the general student population goes there too

So that part doesn't really worry me that much, no matter how much I disagree with mega churches and their mercedes-driving "pastors"

They go because he tells them what they wanna hear. Tells them its ok to have sex and do drugs and get drunk because good will forgive you. Seen the sermons. Its not a church.

Might want yo actually go,he does not tell them it's ok to have sex, do drugs etc. He does tell them if they have, then God will forgive them. Not a fan of his but I also don't want to see you misrepresent what he says.

Good news is God will forgive you too.
Just ask Him

I try to stay out of this stuff but that's not true at all. Perry is very strong against pre-marital sex, drugs, pornography and getting drunk.
99% of these posts on this thread are just people having fun but yours seemed to have a serious feel to it. I have some concerns about Perry and $$$ but he does use the Bible and keeps it real. :)

I don't get the hate for Newspring.

Everything you said is a lie. You've obviously never watched one of their sermons...I think you should.

You couldn't be more wrong. That statement makes it obvious that you haven't heard any Newspring sermon.

Not to worry man...they will soon have a Clemson campus location and your concerns will be eliminated. By the way, would love to have you visit for Easter services and see for yourself....God is not dead and His work, through Perry Noble and the staff at Newspring, is changing lives.
