Rather Have the MVP of the National Championship Game ...

The Heisman Trophy is fine but it is an individual award that doesn't always translate into winning the national championship. I would much rather see DW win the MVP award in the national championship game because that would likely mean that we would have just won the national championship. Just think how hard the Tigers will play now to provide DW the showcase in this next game and possibly the one after it! It would have been nice for him to win the award but it might just be the impetus the Tigers need to play with an attitude once again.

Agree, but one recognizes the player as a whole. It takes a team to get him there but it doesn't make the person. I hope Watson gets the Heisman next year there were none more deserving, but had he won it wouldn't have diminished mvp on the championship team.
