RB situation...please read

From what I heard Zac Brooks is out for the year. CJ Davidson is questionable. I believe Dabo and Morris want another option without burning a redshirt season for Gallman. In steps Jay Jay McCollough. He has played very limited snaps. He ran the ball a lot in HS and in his limited time he has shown he has good ball control. If we had 3 minutes left today we may have seen a lot more of him. Yes, we have. Howard, but I really believe the coaches want another option- one who could come in and knock out 4-5 yards. I think either they did that today to give the coots something to think about or they wanted to see what he had. I say he runs the ball 7-10 times next week. Either he runs it or touches it one way or another. Why else would we see a TE buried on the depth chart come in at RB today like that. I think we have some surprises up the sleeve for SC.

That's what worries me about playing new guys in big games...we've got to limit turnovers next week...

he!! for an inexperienced rb to get touches in a game of this importance and under the bright lights. Asking quite a bit of JJ and the coaches. HOWEVER, I have very little confidence in Howard. I'm guessing the coaches will go with Howard if necessary. Wish we had Brooks available.

using Sammy, Humphries, etc.
and don't forget Boyd's patented short yardage blasts.
We'll be OK.

Clearly our coaches need to have multiple RB options.

Clearly they will be giving Jay Jay some snaps in practice this week.

Jay Jay ran very strong today. Granted he is raw talent but look what Jack has done at UCLA. Jay Jay could step in and have a positive impact.

I'd love to see Jay Jay get some carries. I remember his high school highlights as a running back and they were impressive. He's 6'3" 235 and if there's a chance he gets burried on the tight end depth chart I wouldn't mind seeing him at running back even more in the future.
We are bringing in 2 top 10 tight ends in next year's class (Cannon Smith and Milan Richard.) Plus Cooper, Seckinger, and Jordan Leggett. I wouldn't complain at all if we used Jay Jay at Running Back.

WG should have been getting opportunities tihs year.

After Dye was not an option WG should have been, instead of TB is our power back.
Our coaches limited the team by doing so.
What's the worst situation, WG has to RS next year bc he was a non factor?
Still, TB would not have been our known only option.
