Quit whining about ESPN

Watching the CFB playoff show right now and 2 of the 3 on there had Clemson in the top 4.

It's not the SEC love fest this year that it used to be.

A scenario to worry about.

LSU loses to Bama.

Clemson moves to 5.

Ohio State and Utah win out.

Baylor loses @ TCU in a high scoring game by 3.

Do you really think the committee outs Clemson ahead of Baylor?

I don't understand what you're asking

Clemson would get in ahead of 1-loss Baylor

one loss Stanford. Stanford has been very impressive since losing their first game, and they have plenty of time to impress the committee. Suppose they blow out Notre Dame, whose only other loss is to us by 2. Our worse case scenario is Baylor or TCU being 12-0, OhSt or MichSt being 13-0, and Bame being 12-1. You know those three will be in. If Stanford keeps winning imprewsively, handily beats ND and beats an undefeated Utah in the PaC 12 CG, we could easily be 13-0 and going to a New Years Day 6 bowl game. We not only need to keep winning, we need to win impressively. I know this isn't the most likely scenario, but we are sitting here at week 7 with 10 undefeated P5 teams, when at the same point last year, there were only three. If we have the same attrition rate from here on out as last year, we would end up with 3 undefeated teams.

IF TCU beats Baylor and is 12-0, TCU will be in the playoff

not Baylor. Both certainly won't be in, unless we have at least two 2-loss conference champs.
